Public Research Commercialisation Survey – Denmark 2006
A new statistical survey on public reserch commercialisation in Denmark is now available in English from The Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation.
The annual commercialisation survey illustrates the efforts and results of public research institutions in technology transfer. The statistics for 2006 reveal that the progress made in recent years with the commercialisation of research results in Denmark, continues.
The performance of public research institutions in licensing is improving year by year, while the costs for patenting are decelerating. From 2005 to 2006, the total revenues of public research institutions from commercialisation almost doubled. Thus, for the first time, revenues from commercialisation exceeded costs.
