2007 Student Paper Award 1st Place
Phd student Cecilia Cappellin received the "2007 Student Paper Award 1st Place" for her scientific paper "Application of the SWE-to-PWE Antenna Diagnostics Technique to an Offset Reflector Antenna" at the AMTA 2007 symposium recently.
The paper describes a new diagnosis technique for the identification of errors in antennas on the basis of spherical near field measurements of antennas’ emitted radio wave as they are carried out in Ørsted•DTU's antenna measurement facility. Cecilia’s supervisors, Aksel Frandsen, Senior Engineer, TICRA, and Professor Olav Breinbjerg, Ørsted•DTU, are co-authors of the paper.
