Sustainable energy research gets state funding

The Danish Council for Strategic Research grants DKK 30m to the new Center for Energy Materials.

The Danish Council for Strategic Research


The University of Aarhus and Aalborg University are consolidating their expertise in energy materials in a new facility, the Centre for Energy Materials (CEM), which will conduct research on new energy systems to help ensure future energy supplies. CEM is being supported with DKK 30m (USD 6m) in funding from the Danish Council for Strategic Research, and is also being co-financed by industry.
