The leading hydrogen research position of the North Jutland region is underlined by the co-financing by the North Jutland Growth Forum, who supports two major hydrogen projects with a subsidy of DKK 21m. Institute of Energy Technology at University of Aalborg is one of the two co-financed projects, and they now plan to establish a hydrogen and fuel cell centre, named North Jutland H2FC Centre. The aim is to develop electricity with heat and water as the only waste products.
