Danish researchers in the top league
The renowned journal Nature has published a list of the most important articles from Nature in 2007. This list includes two articles from Danish researchers, who also achieved the honour of having their work featured on the front page of Nature.
University of Aarhus
Among the Danish researchers published in Nature are Bente Vilsen and her research team from the Institute of Physiology and Biophysics, University of Aarhus, describing the structure of the sodium-potassium pump and potentially developing completely new types of medications and technology.
Published also are the Danish physicists Lene Vestergaard Hau and her research team from Harvard University, who described storing and transferring light signals. Their findings could result in the development of quantum computers.
