Aarhus University shows a remarkable success by attracting 40 percent more PhD-students in 2007 than in 2006.

Aarhus University

Among nine faculties the university accepted 446 new PhD-students I 2007, in 2006 the number was 317. 124 of the PhD-students are foreigners, which is very satisfying, says vice-chancellor Lauritz B. Holm-Nielsen:

”Aarhus University is very successful in offering a five year PhD course for highly qualified foreigners, on the basis of their bachelor degree. It is indeed promising, that the best research educations in the country are able to attract foreign research talents to this extend.”
