Staff Exchange Opportunity
Study Centre Scheme
Leading KTOs across Europe designated as Study Centres are offering to host visits and share their expertise, processes and techniques as part of a Good Practice Exchange scheme. Several sites are available at the moment and new hosts will be added as they are approved.
Visitors will be introduced to the work of the KTO and the techniques used; they may work alongside KTO staff on actual projects and explore a range of different working practices for Knowledge Transfer. The value of such in depth experience complements and enhances regular training.
This exciting opportunity is open for minimal cost to all KTOs who are members of ProTon Europe.
Each host site offers visitors a structured programme lasting for up to 5 working days.

Applications
The application procedure and follow-up activities for the staff exchange programme have now been simplified into 5 easy steps:
- Complete the application form stating which areas you are interested in. It would be helpful if you could identify which host organisation you would like to visit. Participating hosting organizations are listed on the ProTon Europe website. If you would like to identify additional opportunities, the secretariat will help with the matching process.
- Send a CV and a letter of motivation explaining why you wish to participate in the exchange.
- Once your application has been approved by ProTon Europe, the secretariat will help you organise the staff exchange.
- On completion of the staff exchange, you will receive an invoice from the hosting organization and an invoice from ProTon Europe.
- After completion you will be asked to submit a brief report describing the staff exchange and highlighting the benefits. This should be sent to the secretariat in electronic format.
ProTon Europe will arrange the placement with the host and send you all details. Places are limited to 4 per host on each visit.
Expert & Bilateral Visits
On occasion an expert visitor can visit a KTO to work with KTO staff on specific topics that they are addressing.
This can be more efficient than sending one member of the KTO on an exchange visit.
